Comics Mini Book Fair

 

The second edition of our book showcase for all ages, this time dedicated to comics. We will introduce the genre of documentary comics and present a newly created comic, When It Began, exploring the journeys and life stories of Ukrainian students during the war in Ukraine. The mini book fair is organized as part of the Open Studios Days of the Hradec Králové Region. The exhibition of comics is also a sales exhibition, curated with the help of the ArtMap bookstore. You can look forward to a lecture on documentary comics, along with a workshop led by screenwriter Petra Dobruská. You can also visit a sales exhibition of student drawings and paintings inspired by the Orlické Mountains.
